Since 1995, Purple Shark Transcriptions has been providing high quality transcripts for corporations, authors, journalists, doctoral students and others of interviews, speeches, dictation, audio conferences, webinars, etc., in a timely and reliable fashion. We are knowledgeable and experienced in numerous fields, including academic, pharmaceutical, the arts and general business, and we are able to work from digital audio and video files, standard cassettes and microcassettes.

Imagine a world in which the excess energy from one business would be used to heat another. Where buildings need less and less energy around the world, and where regenerative commercial buildings ones that create more energy than they use are being designed.

Within the past years, the number of alliances to combat major public health problems in the developing world has exploded. Yet, lack of comprehension of the management challenges they face has hampered alliances' capacity to fully achieve their goals. This study focused on the factors that influence the development, governance, operations, communication and reporting systems of a specific global health alliance. The case study was of the Global Alliance for Women's Health (GAWH), a pseudonym.

WHAT WE DO

We specialize in readable, usable transcripts in what we like to think of as "Verbatim Lite"--minus the "ers", "ahs", "you knows" and other verbal tics that add nothing to the substance of what's been said. We also engage in a high level of Internet research when necessary in order to make transcripts as accurate as possible. WHERE WE ARE

We're in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. We also cover three of the four North American time zones, with locations in California, Florida, West Virginia, Ohio, Minnesota and Oregon. And then there are a couple of Sharks in other locations. One is in Canada and one is in Indonesia. (Not so much outsourcing as someone moved with her husband's job. But it's convenient when something needs to get done "overnight.")
